Job summary

Amcor is seeking a strategic Key Account Manager to manage and develop the relationship with the key customer P&G. You will define account strategies, drive sales growth, and deliver tailored packaging solutions to meet customer needs.

In this role you will collaborate with R&D, Production, Logistics, Quality, and PLM to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards, while leading contract negotiations and monitoring account performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a large-scale B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability.
  • Experience with negotiations; strong influencing and persuasion skills.

Job Summary

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and developing the relationship with a strategic customer: P&G. This role involves defining account-specific strategies, driving sales growth, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts within the assigned scope.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with customer decision‑makers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and provide customized solutions to address them.
Sales & Strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing accounts and scope, while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform and adapt commercial strategies.
Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, Production, Logistics, Quality, and PLM, to meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional efforts internally and externally to ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with quality standards.
  • Organize and lead customer meetings, involving relevant stakeholders from both organizations.
  • Coordinate and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Negotiation & Contracts
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and the implementation of service agreements.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and customer requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Regularly monitor and analyse account performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports detailing sales data, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications / Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in working in a large scale B2B environment
  • Relevant industry experience in technical, sales and general management
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability
  • Experience with negotiations; strong influencing and persuasion skills
Knowledge
