Job description

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, need for liver transplantation and premature mortality. Every member of our Madrigal team is connected by our shared purpose: leading the fight against MASH.

Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c).

Our success is driven by our people. We are building a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing culture that values scientific excellence, operational rigor, and collaboration. To support our continued growth, we are strengthening our workforce strategy to ensure we have the right talent, at the right time, in the right way.

  • Ability to articulate compelling unbranded and branded messaging within PI labeling including the Brand Value Propositions, brand clinical information (approved reprints) and approved Health Economic Data and Models.
  • Drive customer engagement by providing deep insights and expertise around the MAFLD/MASH disease continuum, offering valuable customer insights on trends, market conditions, protocol development, and changes in formulary/medical policies.
  • Leverage and champion core key account resources and sales planning tools to optimize sales performance.
  • Encourage and facilitate MML/HEOR/Marketing team interactions with customers, foster consultation and collaboration with stakeholders across matrixed organizations to develop patient-centric solutions, unique MML engagements and relationship building with peers.
  • Collaborate with functional matrix team leaders to optimize business performance and/or effectively manage complex business risks and issues.
  • Develop and execute Key Account matrix business plans in cooperation with cross functional leaders (Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access & Patient Support).
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in strict compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations as well as company policies.
  • The position will report to the Executive Director, Health Systems.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed quantitative and qualitative targets.
  • Ability to travel 60-80%.
  • Strong project management experience with superior analytical and planning skills.
  • Effective team player, capable of thriving in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Reside within the geographic area of responsibility to facilitate efficient account management.
  • A valid driver’s license is required due to the essential duty of driving.
