ADM's Wild Flavors team in Erlanger, KY seeks a Key Account Commercial Quality Representative to provide technical leadership for project initiatives and process improvements within the Quality organization.

The role partners with regional quality, operations, and supply chain leaders, applying design of experiments and data analysis to drive root-cause investigations and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or related field or equivalent 5 yrs experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience applying Design of Experiments in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong data analysis, data aggregation, and interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cross-functional organization of new product launches, validation projects, and formula transfers.
  • Develop understanding of product lifecycle steps.
  • Evaluate processes using scientific principles to drive improvements aligned with QFS.
  • Execute and document process studies in an active manufacturing environment.
  • Support operations through continuous improvement initiatives and critical process thinking.
  • Coordinate with regional/plant quality, operations, and supply chain leaders on complaint management.
  • Investigate manufacturing failures for true root cause and mitigate.

The Key Account Commercial Quality Representative is a technical position within the Quality organization, and reports to the Key Account Commercial Quality Manager for Flavors North America. This role will provide technical support and leadership for various project initiatives and process improvements within ADM Wild Flavors Business Unit.

This role will provide technical support and leadership for various project initiatives and process improvements within ADM Wild Flavors Business Unit.

Primary Job Functions
  • Contribute to cross-functional organization of new product launches, validation projects, and formula transfers
  • Develop a thorough understanding of product lifecycle steps
  • Evaluate existing processes using scientific principles to facilitate improvement while ensuring alignment to QFS principles
  • Execute and document process studies in an active manufacturing environment.
  • Actively contributes to plant efforts to support operations through critical process thinking and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with regional and plant quality leaders, operation leaders, and supply chain leaders in all aspects of service and product complaint management
  • Investigate manufacturing failures for true root cause and advise on potential mitigations.
  • Remain current with industry trends, technology, and best practices as applicable.
Requirements
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science, or related field or equivalent 5 yrs experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Design of Experiments principles
  • Ability to decipher, aggregate, and organize data, while ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision: effectively plan, organize and execute own activities.
  • Willing and able to spend time in plant as needed to understand manufacturing processes, execute studies and conduct verification activities.

Working Conditions

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$70,600.00 - $113,600.00
