Job summary

The Salvation Army Kissimmee Service Unit in Orlando, FL seeks a driver to transport bell ringers between kettle locations. This role requires safe operation of company vehicles and accurate paperwork for each kettle worker.

Job Summary

Drives Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers to and from kettle locations. Picks up and exchanges full kettles with next day's empty kettle at pre-determined bell ringer locations and transport full kettles to the Corps for secure lockup.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to transport bell ringers.
• Accurately record start and end time on each kettle worker on appropriate paperwork.
• Organize and distribute proper kettle numbers to proper locations and kettle worker.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to organize route in a manner that saves time and gasoline consumption.
• Ability to operate commercial equipment.
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
• Knowledge of the assigned geographic area.
