Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate science teacher with broad training in the biological and chemical sciences to join our team.

The ideal candidate will:

+ Have the competencies and qualifications (18 graduate credits in discipline per Higher Learning Commission requirements) to teach Biochemistry lectures.

+ Be committed to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students.

+ Be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students to learn and achieve their full potential.

+ Be capable of teaching additional courses such as:

+ General Chemistry (lecture and lab)

+ 2.General Biology (lecture and lab)

+ 3.Anatomy and Physiology (lab only)

+ Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive Christian* school culture.

Actual course assignments will be determined by competencies and qualifications of applicants and needs within the Science & Math Department.

Other duties and responsibilities expected of full-time college faculty within the larger college community.

Minimum Qulification:

+ Masters degree in Biological/Chemical discipline

*The applicant should understand the distinctive mission of the college as a faith-based institution focused on health care education in the Seventh-day Adventist tradition and will demonstrate an ability to collaborate with faculty, administrators and leaders in our partner health care system.*

Preferred:

+ PhD degree in Biological/Chemical discipline

+ Demonstrated college level teaching experience
