Job summary

Serenity Healthcare is seeking a Ketamine Infusion Nurse in Provo, UT, to deliver safe ketamine IV infusions in a calm, patient-centered setting. You will monitor patients, manage care, and ensure comfort throughout the treatment process.

The role emphasizes strong communication, sterile technique, and teamwork, with opportunities to support patients and families and to participate in telehealth when not infusing.

Qualifications

• RN License must be current, active, and unrestricted.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Proficiency in IV placement, upkeep, and management.
• Solid knowledge of medications, sterile technique, and infection control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer Ketamine via IV and monitor patients.
• Provide caring support to patients throughout the infusion process.
• Explain Ketamine infusions to patients and families to build confidence and calm.
• Offer emotional support during treatment and ensure comfort.
• Maintain thorough documentation of care and procedures.
• Support providers and patients via telehealth when not infusing.
• Adapt and assist as part of a collaborative team.

WhatYou'llBe Doing:

• Safely and effectively administering Ketamine via IV
• Caring closely for patients during every step of the process
• Explaining ketamine infusion to patients and their families in a way that inspires confidence and peace
• Providing calm, reassuring emotional support throughout treatment
• Demonstrating thorough documentation
• Providing support to providers and patients via telehealth when not administering infusions
• Jumping in where needed -we'rea team, and flexibility is part of the flow

What You Need:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License - current,activeand unrestricted
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
• Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - a focus on patient experience
• Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
