Job summary

Serenity Healthcare is seeking a Ketamine Infusion Nurse to deliver safe, effective treatment in a calm, patient-centered outpatient setting. You will monitor patients, manage care, and ensure comfort through each infusion.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with IV placement skills, infection control knowledge, and excellent communication. This role offers three 12-hour shifts weekly, a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license active and unrestricted.
• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Confident with IV placement, upkeep and management during infusion.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer Ketamine via IV and monitor patients throughout the infusion.
• Care for patients during every step of the process and ensure comfort.
• Explain ketamine infusion to patients and families to inspire confidence and peace.
• Provide calm, emotional support during treatment.
• Maintain thorough documentation of care and administration.

The Role: Ketamine Infusion Nurse

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely and effectively administering Ketamine via IV
• Caring closely for patients during every step of the process
• Explaining ketamine infusion to patients and their families in a way that inspires confidence and peace
• Providing calm, reassuring emotional support throughout treatment
• Demonstrating thorough documentation
• Providing support to providers and patients via telehealth when not administering infusions
• Jumping in where needed - we'rea team, and flexibility is part of the flow

What You Need:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License - current,activeand unrestricted
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Confident with IV placement, upkeep, and management from start to finish
• Solid knowledge of meds, sterile technique, and infection control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - a focus on patient experience
• Flexibility and adaptability as situations require
