Kestra Line Cook | Full Time

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. Located in the vibrant Seaport District, our hotel features 1,054 rooms, multiple dining outlets, a rooftop pool, a luxury spa, and extensive meeting space. Recognized as a '2023 Best Places to Work,' we foster a culture of creativity, performance, and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and refine service standards, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Prepare for health inspections and uphold sanitation standards.
  • Perform food prep, production, and cleaning tasks according to hotel procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in all food preparation and storage areas.
  • Produce food for the cafeteria as assigned, maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
  • Forecast food quantities to control costs and maximize profitability.
  • Stay informed about market trends to create relevant food products and maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in food and beverage, preferably in a large hotel setting.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills, friendly demeanor, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Serve Safe certification.
