Job summary

Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital in Thornton, CO is seeking a day-shift Kennel Technician to support veterinarians and technicians, care for boarding dogs, and help run the kennels and daycare.

You will feed and exercise animals, monitor well-being, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety protocols while providing friendly client communication.

Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work well in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Feed animals as prescribed by the attending Veterinarian or owner; record intake.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and supervise sanitation of cages, runs, and facilities.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint and handling.
• Walk patients and provide fresh bedding; monitor wellbeing and report concerns.
