AmeriVet in Lake Park, GA is seeking a team member to assist with everyday animal care, cleaning, and support for doctors and technicians. You will help with patient processing, feeding, walking pets, administering medications, and charting records in a collaborative clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Animal care includes but not limited to: checking pets in and out including weights, temperatures, fleas check, baths and brushing
• Feeding and watering pets
• Walking canines
• Administering medications to pets
• Bathing patients
• Charting patient records
• Cleaning kennels and building areas
• Assisting doctors, technicians and veterinary assistants
• Holding pets safely
• Collecting samples for tests
• Assisting with procedures, taking radiographs and lab work

Job description

Animal care includes but not limited to:

• checking pets in and out including weights, temperatures, checking for fleas, cleanup baths and brushing.
• feeding and watering pets
• walking canines
• administering medications to pets
• bathing patients
• charting patient records

Cleaning:

kennels and all parts of the building

Assisting doctors, technicians and veterinary assistants:

• holding pets safely
• collecting samples for tests such as urine
• assisting with procedures, taking radiographs and lab work
