Innovetive Petcare in Dallas, Texas is seeking a compassionate Kennel Technician to join our veterinary team. You will provide daily care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets, ensure cleanliness, and support the veterinary staff.

The ideal candidate has hands-on animal care experience, can lift and move heavy pets, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We offer PTO, health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k) and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous professional or hands-on animal care experience.
• Ability to safely handle and restrain animals.
• Sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift or move heavy pets and objects.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets.
• Feeding and watering animals according to their individual care instructions.
• Walking, bathing, and maintaining cleanliness and comfort of pets.
• Safely handling and restraining animals when needed.
• Monitoring pet behavior and watching for signs of distress or illness.
• Maintaining clean kennels and animal care areas.
• Assisting veterinary technicians and other medical staff with patient care as needed.

In this role, you’ll help care for pets staying in our hospital, including boarding and hospitalized patients, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, clean, and well cared for throughout their stay.

As a Kennel Technician, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every animal in our care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing daily care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets.
