Ranch Animal Hospital in Bradenton, Florida is seeking a dependable Kennel Technician to support our veterinary team and care for hospitalized and boarding pets. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming hospital and assist doctors, veterinary technicians, and client services throughout the day.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of animal care experience and a strong work ethic, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Ranch Animal Hospital is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Kennel Technician to join our growing team in Bradenton, Florida.

At Ranch Animal Hospital, our Kennel Technicians are an important part of the veterinary team. You’ll help care for hospitalized and boarding pets, maintain a clean and welcoming hospital, and support the doctors, veterinary technicians, and client service team throughout the day.

You won't just care for pets here. You'll become part of a team that cares about them, and each other.

Schedule and Compensation

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Consistent Full-Time Schedule:

• Tuesday
• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday

A predictable schedule gives you the stability to build relationships with your teammates, patients, and clients while becoming an integral part of our hospital.

Qualifications & Experience

We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, compassionate, and ready to be part of a team.

You should have:

• 1+ year of experience in animal care, boarding, kennel operations, veterinary medicine, or a related field preferred

Veterinary experience is helpful, but we're equally interested in people who bring the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday
• Comfortable working around animal dander, cleaning products, veterinary chemicals, and varying noise levels
• Ability to safely handle and restrain animals when necessary
