The role supports infection control and patient safety by maintaining kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces, while assisting with basic animal care as needed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and flexible enough to cover evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and strong follow-through.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Comfort around dogs, cats, animal waste, and cleaning products.
• Experience in janitorial services or healthcare environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect lobby, front desk, offices, kennels, and treatment areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean kennels, cages, and animal-care spaces.
• Restock supplies and maintain orderly storage areas.
• Assist with feeding, watering, and basic animal-care duties as assigned.
• Notify leadership when supplies are low or unsafe.
