Cypress Fairhaven Animal Hospital, located in Cypress, TX, seeks a Kennel Assistant to provide compassionate care for boarding and daycare pets. You will monitor pet well-being, assist the veterinary team, and maintain a clean, safe environment across kennels, runs, and outdoor areas.

The role requires the physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, a flexible schedule (including some weekends/holidays), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Requires the physical ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Previous kennel assistant experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: primary caregiver for boarding and daycare pets, ensure proper food, exercise, and comfort.
• Be the Eyes and Ears of Animal Health: monitor animals and notify medical team of any concerns.
• Create a Safe and Healthy Environment: maintain cleanliness across kennels, runs, and outdoor areas.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: manage inventory and collaborate with team to complete tasks.
