A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KENNEL ATTENDANT

In this animal care position, you play a vital role in providing a safe and fun environment for the furry friends we look after. Every day, you arrive at work ready to provide the dogs in our care with fun daily enrichment activities to keep them stimulated and engaged. You also feed them, sanitize their dog rooms, and clean our facility. Hardworking and caring, you make sure every pet is kept safe and happy!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A KENNEL ATTENDANT

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Dog handling skills
• Ability to work with dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Ability to take pictures with a camera phone
• Ability to use a computer and social media platforms
• Ability to be on your feet for entirety of your shift
• Ability to lift 50lbs +
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A KENNEL ATTENDANT

This full-time or part-time pet care position is required to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and enjoys a variety of shift options. Our primary shifts are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PMand 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
