Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work with or around sick animals and cleaning chemicals.
• Job requires lifting, cleaning, and constant motion.
• May involve stooping, kneeling, crawling.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pets and support veterinarians/technicians.
• Feed animals as prescribed and monitor intake and output.
• Report unusual conditions and signs of distress.
• Assist with pet restraint and handling as needed.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and proper use of cleaning agents.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple duties efficiently.
• Groom, laundry, and prepare bedding as required.
• Communicate health recommendations to clients clearly.
