Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Animal Medical Center of Cumming in Georgia is seeking a compassionate Kennel Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians by cleaning, feeding, and handling pets. The position requires lifting and physical work, must be 18+, and willingness to work a varied schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work with and around animals.
• Lifting and physical activity required.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs and oversee outdoor playtimes.
• Feed, exercise, restrain and handle pets.
• Clean kennels and maintain equipment.
• Check pets in for boarding, playtime and daycare.
• Assist other hospital staff as needed.
• Stock kennel supplies and maintain cleanliness.
