About the Role

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Kennel Assistant provides care for patients during grooming and boarding visits. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment, walking, feeding, and administering medication to patients under supervision, and ensuring proper documentation and patient handling.

Hours of Operation

• Monday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Tuesday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Wednesday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm
• Sunday: Closed

Compensation

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends as required
• Previous veterinary experience preferred
• Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds, with assistance for heavier patients
• Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
