Island Veterinary Hospital in Coram, NY is seeking a Kennel Assistant / Animal Care Attendant to support our boarding and hospital care teams. This entry-level role requires a compassionate approach to animal care and a willingness to train on-site.

We offer full-time or part-time hours with a competitive hourly wage, weekend and holiday coverage as needed, and opportunities for growth into Veterinary Assistant training and expanded hospital responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Cares for boarding and hospitalized pets.

Pay: $17.50 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Our privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in Coram, NY is hiring a Kennel Assistant / Animal Care Attendant to support our boarding and hospital care teams.

What You’ll Do

• Care for boarding and hospitalized pets
• Feed, walk, and monitor animals
• Clean kennels, cages, and hospital areas

Schedule Requirements

• Weekend and holiday availability required (boarding care coverage as needed)
