BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team!

A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of hospital patients and maintains the cleanliness of the facility, equipment, and tools. The role may include assistance with basic patient care, such as safe restraint during treatment.

As a Kennel Assistant, you will:

• Maintain cleanliness of the hospital, including kennel areas, runs, treatment areas, and outside grounds.
• Provide routine attention to patients, including walking dogs.
• Monitor and record important information about animals' conditions, behavior, and habits (elimination, eating, etc.).
• Clean treatment, exam, surgery, and lab areas daily.
• Maintain laundry throughout the day and keep the laundry area neat.
• Work up to four days weekly, including one weekend day and some holidays.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies such as food, cleaning, and laundry products.
• Assist with facility equipment and minor repairs.
• Safely approach and restrain cooperative patients during treatments.
