Job summary

National Veterinary Associates in Westport, MA is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable team member to join our veterinary team. You’ll help provide excellent care for our patients while supporting the daily operations of our hospital.

No prior work experience is required and we will train the right candidate. Animal handling experience is a plus, but a strong team mindset, initiative, and ability to work independently are valued. Pay: $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Feeding and watering animals according to schedules
• Caring for pets during their stay in our facility
• Safely controlling and restraining animals as needed
• Cleaning, changing, and disinfecting cages, runs, and animal housing areas
• Sanitizing animal rooms, hallways, and equipment
• Exercising and walking animals
• Transferring animals between treatment, boarding, and hospital areas
• Cleaning and stocking hospital supplies
• Supporting doctors, technicians, and reception staff as needed
