Kennel Assistants are responsible for the day-to-day care of pets in our boarding facility. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing and monitoring the well-being of dogs and cats. Kennel Assistants must have sufficient physical strength, mobility and stamina to lift and or move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to administer medications, and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease. It is essential that they have the willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for pets in the boarding facility. We prefer to have someone with a moderate amount of animal experience in a boarding facility.
Employees receive competitive compensation with a comprehensive benefits package including: Compensation: $15-$17.00/hr and the starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
