Kendall Toyota of Eugene is hiring for a Service Porter/Shuttle Driver to join our service team. This entry-level role offers full-time hours and the opportunity to learn the automotive industry while delivering friendly customer service.

Candidates should have a proven customer service background, be able to drive various vehicles, and work indoors and outdoors. You will shuttle vehicles, assist with check-in, and help keep the service drive clean.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Provide superior customer service to service clients and direct them to the appropriate advisor.

• Wash exteriors and vacuum interiors of vehicles; perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean.
• Relieve the courtesy Shuttle Driver when needed and coordinate pick-up/drop-off times for efficiency.

This is an entry level position giving you the opportunity to learn the automotive industry. We are looking for candidates who are available for full-time hours, have proven customer service experience, and are enthusiastic about their work.

Job duties include moving and parking service vehicles as needed, communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients, directing service customers to the appropriate advisor, obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles and janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable.

You will also relieve the courtesy Shuttle Driver. We take great pride in our Shuttle Drivers driving courteously for our clients who we transport between in-town locations. Being familiar with city streets and navigating through town to any given destination including the ability to read maps, signs, and use a GPS navigation device is required. Additional duties will include coordinating with vehicle operation and schedule pick up /drop off times for efficiency and client satisfaction.

This position works both indoors and outdoors, in a shop environment greeting customers in the service drive, standing and walking is required for up to 75% of work shift, and bending, twisting, and kneeling required primarily for getting in and out of vehicles.

Requirements

Candidates must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, must have ability to drive automatic and manual transmission. A good, clean driving record and valid driver license is required.
