Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to travel to customer locations in Oregon and perform on-site maintenance and repairs using a fully equipped mobile service van. The role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• On-Site Maintenance: perform routine maintenance and minor repairs at customer locations.
• Diagnostics & Repairs: troubleshoot and perform recalls to manufacturer specifications.
• Software & Tech: apply software updates and perform diagnostic scans.
• Customer Service: explain vehicle conditions, provide estimates, and deliver invoices with photos/video.
• Inventory & Van Management: keep the mobile service van organized and stocked.

We are looking for a Mobile Service Technician who is responsible, proactive, personable, and thrives in an independent work setting.

Job duties:

Travels to customer locations (homes or offices) to perform on-site vehicle maintenance and repairs using a fully equipped mobile service van. This customer-facing role requires strong automotive diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Core Responsibilities

• On-Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, battery replacements, fluid exchanges, tire rotations, software updates, recalls, brake services, and wiper replacements.
• Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute warranty repairs, and perform recalls to manufacturer specifications.
• Software & Tech: Handle software updates, diagnostic scanning, and accessory installations.
• Customer Service: Interact directly with clients to explain vehicle conditions, provide repair estimates, and deliver invoices, complimentary professional multi-pint vehicle inspections with pictures and video
• Inventory & Van Management: Keep the mobile service vehicle clean, organized, and adequately stocked with the necessary tools and parts

Requirements

You must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
