Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous vehicle maintenance experience required.

  • Perform basic maintenance on service vehicles and Ford recalls.
  • Inspect, replenish, drain, and fill fluids and lubricants; balance and rotate tires.
  • Perform basic brake repairs, diagnostics, and software updates.
  • Document all work and hours per Kendall standards; provide professional customer service.

As the Mobile Service Technician you’ll drive a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to in-town locations to perform job duties at customer locations. Job duties for this position include performing basic maintenance on service vehicles and Ford recalls. Basic maintenance includes inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants, balancing and rotating tires, performing vehicle inspections, completing basic brake repairs, vehicle diagnostics, and software updates. All work and hours must be documented per manufacturer and Kendall standards. You will provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service at every stop.

Work is performed outdoors, tool usage includes mechanic’s hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.

Requirements
