Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ken Fix Technician to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Tower, Qatar. As a Ken Fix Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repairs of our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our industrial processes and maintaining high productivity standards.

1. Obtain the out-of-order room list from the Assistant Chief Engineer and Engineering Coordinator, and perform repairs and maintenance according to the schedule.
2. Inspect all rooms as per PMP schedule, regarding carpentry, electricity, plumbing, painting, polishing, and A/C.
3. Report any major repairs in rooms to the Assistant Chief Engineer.
4. Strictly adhere to policies and procedures in guest rooms.
5. Perform any other work assigned by the Assistant Chief Engineer or during the engineering shift.
6. Keep the toolbox ready; missing tools are your responsibility.
7. Relieve any technician during their absence (Electrician, Plumber, General Mechanic, A/C Technician, Welder, Painter, Polisher, Carpenter) as per operational needs and instructions from the Assistant Chief Engineer.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Ken Fix Technician or similar role working with industrial equipment.
2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
3. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
4. Good communication skills for effective collaboration and detailed reporting.
5. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
7. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
