Location: Kelso

Kelso Relief Support Worker

Salary: £12.00 per hour - 25/26 Pay Award Pending

Part-time

Kelso service provides support to 10 individuals with varying needs and abilities. They receive tailored support to help them maintain their tenancies and live fulfilling lives. Our team encourages independence, participation in activities of their choice, and meaningful community relationships.

Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Supporting vulnerable individuals as part of an effective team.
2. Communicating and building positive relationships with supported people to provide personalized care.
3. Supporting individuals during activities, providing encouragement and positive feedback.
4. Maintaining accurate records using a tablet on the Arks Information Management system.

What is a Relief Support Worker?

As a Relief Support Worker, you will perform the same duties as Support Workers during your shifts. Since this role is flexible, you can choose shifts that fit your schedule.*

*Please note: Relief work is on an as-needed basis to cover sickness, leave, and staffing contingencies. Regular or ongoing shifts are not guaranteed due to changing staffing needs.
