Overview
The Kelsey’s Loft Bartender serves food and beverages to restaurant and bar patrons in a friendly, prompt, and courteous manner. The bartender may serve beer, wine, classic drinks, and create new recipes for cocktails, and is responsible for ensuring the bar runs smoothly and efficiently.

All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the bar is stocked with glasses, garnishes, drink mixes, and ice.
- Demonstrate proper knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations.
- Possess knowledge of all PR&C drink recipes.
- Make signature cocktails using creative ingredients, fresh herbs, and other embellishments.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar countertop and area throughout the shift.
- Adhere to cash and operating policies in accordance with the PRC handbook.
- Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling.
- Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide impeccable service and attention to detail in a high‑pressure environment.
- Assess customer preferences and make drink suggestions.
- Effectively upsell craft cocktails, wine, and beer to generate sales and revenue growth.
- Abide by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Accountability
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Incumbent is responsible for protecting the assets of Pechanga Resort Casino and for maintaining and providing a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bartender experience in an upscale dining establishment.
- Extensive craft cocktail, spirit, and beer knowledge.
- Impeccable service standards and attention to detail.
Special Requirements
- Food Safety.
- Responsible Beverage Service.
- Ability to pass the pre‑employment bartender audition.
Certification and Licensing
- Qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “A” Gaming License.
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Micros.
- Strong communication skills, including reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning ability: apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions and resolve problems with concrete variables in standardized situations.
