The Boeing Company seeks a KC-46 Repair/Modifications Technician to support the KC-46A Pegasus Sustainment Program at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. This 1st shift, 100% onsite role involves assembling and modifying aerospace systems, troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and validating test results for flight worthiness.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices.
  • Ability to travel 15%–25% domestically and internationally.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working from heights with fall protection equipment.

Boeing Global Services isseeking a KC-46 Repair/Modifications Technician in direct support of KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program within Boeing Global Services Seymour Johnson AFB, NC.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Oversees training.
  • Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices
  • Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience do you have in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working from heights & using fall protection equipment with weight limitations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with repairing and troubleshooting aircraft structural/composite, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, environmental, and avionics systems
  • Experience you have in avionicstroubleshooting

Summary pay range: $62,900 - $85,100
