Purcell Tire & Rubber Co is seeking a tire technician to assist with vehicle maintenance, tire service, and related inspections. You will pull vehicles, perform oil/lube services, and support safety practices in a busy shop environment.

Requires 1-2 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and ATS/ASE certifications or vendor training. You will work with TPMS, alignments, and emphasize quality and safety in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum job-specific experience: 1-2 years.
• Driver’s license required: Valid Driver's License.
• Other job-specific licenses or certifications: Tire Industry Association ATS certification, ASE certifications, vendor training.

Responsabilités

• Pull customer vehicles in and out of the shop.
• Perform oil/lube services and lamp resets as needed.
• Inspect vehicles and document findings on the repair order.
• Perform tire replacement/repair and TPMS resets.
• Use automotive lift equipment safely and maintain the work area.
• Follow checklists and inspect belts, hoses, brakes, and related systems.
• Perform wheel alignment service.
• Maintain safety and protect company assets.

MISSION

To provide safe, quality automotive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair to customer vehicles

• Pull customer vehicles in and out of the shop
• Complete oil/lube services as well as maintenance lamp resets, gathering specs, and acquiring appropriate repair info as needed
• Complete proper/appropriate vehicle inspection and accurately measure, record, and report findings on the RO as well as acquire specs and other info to support findings
• Perform tire replacement and repair services
• Work with and reset TPMS systems
• Replace wipers and light bulbs
• Use automotive lift equipment in a safe manner.
• Clean, stock, and maintain work area
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.
• Perform wheel alignment service

• Protect company assets
• Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
• Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
