Job description

The Kansas City office of Fisher Phillips, an international management-side labor and employment law firm, seeks to hire an employment litigation associate to join our team. This is an in-office position based in our Kansas City office and offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. The ideal candidate will have some employment litigation experience however, candidates with a few years of general civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply.We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a collaborative work environment and has a growth mindset.

Typical day-to-day opportunities include working as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations. You will work with clients on various day-to-day matters, and you will have the opportunity to educate clients to guide them through challenging moments with their business.
