Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in the United States to ensure Kanban materials are accurate and accessible for production. You will perform forklift operations, cycle counts, and use material tracking systems to move and stage parts for assembly.

You will contribute to continuous improvement of material flow and inventory accuracy while supporting a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Stand-up forklift experience.
• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs Kanban bin checks, walks throughs and audits of assigned areas.
• Conducts cycle counting and problem-solving activities.
• Uses material tracking systems.
• Movement of material from one location to the other.
• Determines and initiates action plans to improve material process and flow.
• Picking and pulling needed parts to the production lines.
• Unpacking material to load into Kanban.
