A leading independent broker-dealer is currently seeking a Financial Professional in the greater Kalamazoo area to manage plan sponsor relationships in tax-exempt markets. The role involves 403(b) and 457 enrollment, retirement investment strategies, and conducting client seminars. Candidates should have a strong understanding of defined contribution plans and relevant securities registrations. This position offers full access to the Voya brand and marketing services.

Qualifications

• Registered Representative with experience working defined contribution plans, 403(b), 457, and 401(a) preferred.
• Securities registrations – Series 7, 65 & 66 preferred.
• Life & Health Insurance Licenses required.
• Strong desire to assist clients with financial and retirement goals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 403(b)/457 enrollment, retirement and investment strategies.
• Conduct participant education and seminars.
• Prospect, schedule, and conduct one-on-one appointments.

Skills

Strong understanding of the defined contribution marketplace (403(b), 457, and 401(a))

Knowledge of rules/regulations around contribution limits, loans, withdrawals, vesting, and plan documents

Territory management and business development

Relationship building

Fund knowledge and product/pricing knowledge

Education

Registered Representative with experience working defined contribution plans
