Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a manufacturing professional to drive continuous improvement in our production environments. You will participate in Kaizen events, analyze process data, and implement sustainable improvements across extrusion and cable manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to optimize performance and training programs.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with process improvement, troubleshooting equipment, optimizing production, or implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills to identify improvements and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, root cause analysis, A3/A1 problem solving, FMEA, or continuous improvement projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an agent of change with a metric-driven focus, participate in Kaizen events, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs such as scrap, defects, downtime, and machine performance; investigate issues and implement countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to prioritize improvements.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work instructions, training docs, and process standards.
  • Maintain process guidelines and facility documents with optimizations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment for processing phases.
  • Commission new equipment for manufacturing.
  • Support R&D with assistance during product development.
  • Lead or manage team in absence of area manager and mentor operators.
