Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Kafka Administrator to manage and scale our streaming data platform across on-prem and cloud environments. You will own cluster operations, security, and automation.

You will implement REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines, using Docker, Kubernetes, Bash scripting, and modern observability tools to keep systems reliable and fast. Candidates should be proficient with TLS/SSL, SASL, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and comfortable contributing to system

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Kafka as a messaging system and event-driven architecture.
• Expert Python and Java object-oriented programming.
• Unix/Linux environment with Bash scripting for automation and pipelines.
• Experience building scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL and SASL for securing Kafka clusters.
• CI/CD automation using GitLab or similar tools.
• SQL with relational databases and complex queries.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Observability via Splunk, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data platforms like Databricks/Snowflake is a plus.
