We are looking for a highly skilled Kafka Administrator with strong hands‑on experience in Core Apache Kafka administration and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of dedicated Core Kafka experience along with strong expertise in Ansible and Python for automation. The role involves administering enterprise Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, monitoring performance, implementing security, troubleshooting production issues, and automating operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and upgrade Apache Kafka clusters.
• Manage Kafka Brokers, ZooKeeper/KRaft, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
• Monitor Kafka cluster performance, broker health, producer throughput, consumer lag, and latency.
• Configure and maintain Kafka topics, partitions, replication, and retention policies.
• Perform Kafka performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Implement Kafka security using SSL/TLS, SASL, Kerberos, and ACLs.
• Troubleshoot Kafka production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Automate Kafka administration, deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks using Ansible and Python.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Kafka producers, consumers, and messaging architecture.
• Support production deployments, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for Kafka environments.
