Job summary

ABC7 Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. This on-site role requires flexibility with scheduling, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays as production demands.

This role requires flexibility with scheduling which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays depending on production needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can handle shifting priorities with ease. In addition to strong editing and storytelling skills, this role involves technical coordination—such as managing satellite and microwave signals, bringing in live shots from crews in the field, and troubleshooting transmission issues as they arise.

This role is considered on‑site, which means the employee will work from a Company designated location on an ongoing basis.

Required education:

• High school diploma

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $65,300 to $87,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
