Kim's K-9 in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Kennel Technician to provide attentive care for dogs and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will work as part of a supportive team, focusing on the well-being of each canine under your care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and surrounding areas to provide a safe environment for our dogs.
• Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, promptly reporting any concerns to the management team.
• Feed and administer medications to dogs according to their individual care plans, ensuring their well-being.
• Engage with dogs through play and exercise, fostering a stimulating and enriching environment.
• Assist with the intake and discharge process of dogs, ensuring a smooth transition for both pets and owners.
• Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, health, and behavior to support effective care management.
• Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and positive work environment, enhancing team morale and efficiency.

• Experience in training and mentoring new staff, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of learning.

Compensation: $14.50 - $15.50+ hourly DOE
