Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Junior Handler to screen cargo per TSA rules, with a required 4–8 weeks of training and certification before deployment to the site. The role involves working with a trained canine, maintaining records, and meeting security clearance requirements.

Compensation includes hourly pay with variations by location, requiring flexibility for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, plus potential travel and on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify potential threats.
• Conduct authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed.
• Perform Junior Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog.
• Responsible for maintaining training records.
• Responsible for maintenance of assigned canine and living arrangements; inspections may occur.
• Must maintain all required certifications and security clearances.
• Must be willing to operate company vehicle during on-site training.
• Work conditions include varied environments, inclement weather, nights/weekends/holidays, and potential travel.
• Other duties as assigned.
