About the Role

Adventure World Kids is launching 5-student learning pods for K-12 scholarship families. We’re looking for engaging instructors who can deliver one-hour, hands-on classes that blend math/ELA mastery with STEM projects—all on-site in our Saint Cloud center, with the option to tutor individual students online if a parent requests it.

• Compensation: $30/hr. (paid directly by Adventure World Kids, bi-weekly).
• Core Schedule:
• Each cohort meets once per week for a 60-minute lesson.
• Instructors may teach 1–4 cohorts per day (4–20 teaching hours per week) based on availability.
• Prep materials are provided; you arrive, teach, and inspire.
• Worksite: Adventure World Kids facility (remote 1-on-1 sessions only when a parent opts in).

What You’ll Do

• Lead interactive, 60-minute classes that mix adaptive math/ELA practice with project-based STEM challenges.
• Use our ready-to-teach slide decks, Khan Academy class codes, NASA lab guides, and monthly STEM crates.
• Track progress in a simple digital portfolio and send a brief “Mission Recap” email to parents each week.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Valid certificate from another state, or
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of documented teaching/tutoring experience.

Nice-to-Have

• Montessori or project-based learning experience
• Familiarity with Scratch coding, VR field trips, or Socratic seminars
