Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Vermont Teaching License with appropriate Special Education endorsement (7-12).
• Experience with behavioral strategies and interventions for students with emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Knowledge of state and federal Special Education guidelines and laws.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and/or provide special education services and accommodations to eligible students.
• Ensure students receive a grade-appropriate instructional program from an approved curriculum.
• Create a supportive learning environment and collaborate with staff, parents, and agencies.
• Maintain effective relationships with students, parents, agency contacts, and colleagues.
