Job summary

ThinnkBotics in Prosper, TX is seeking an enthusiastic Math Instructor to teach K–8 students in small groups and one-on-one settings. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with Texas TEKS and STAAR readiness, identify gaps, and adapt instruction to individual needs.

You will also help develop curriculum and materials, track progress, and communicate with parents and academy staff to foster a positive learning environment. After-school and weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of K-8 math concepts.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, positive, and passionate about helping students succeed.
• Availability for after-school, evening, or weekend classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to K–8 students in small-group and one-on-one settings.
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with Texas TEKS and support STAAR readiness.
• Identify learning gaps and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Help students with school curriculum, homework, and test preparation.
• Assist in developing and improving the Math curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and instructional materials.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and academy staff.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.
