Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Comfort with growth-focused coaching via observations and progress monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to supervise students of various ages in different settings
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks
• Experience in urban environments

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify during the school year
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ needs
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress
• Utilize research-based practices in daily planning and instruction
• Manage student behavior in the classroom
• Create a positive classroom environment for learning
• Use approved curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth
• Incorporate technology into daily practice
• Participate in non-instructional activity planning as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues
• Perform other duties as assigned
