Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Student Learning Coach to lead high-energy life-skills workshops for K-8 students and coach them to set and reach ambitious weekly goals.

You’ll use Coachbot analytics to personalize guidance, celebrate real progress, and help students develop confidence, resilience, leadership, and ownership. This is a full-time, in-person role at Alpha campuses across the United States, with day-one benefits and a salary of $120,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth programs.
• Ability to motivate students to achieve difficult goals with concrete outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 students.
• Coach students individually and in small groups using analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life-skill mastery and provide targeted coaching until competences are demonstrated.
• Adapt coaching style across age groups from kindergarten to eighth grade.
• Analyze weekly performance data to improve outcomes for the cohort.
