Job summary

Alpha is hiring guides (teachers) to work on-site at a campus in Texas. You will run one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 students, monitor progress with Coachbot analytics, and push each student to 100% of weekly app goals using school currency and leaderboards.

Responsibilities include one-on-one motivation sessions, administering mastery assessments, and adjusting sessions for diverse ages. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years with K-8 students are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject and strong general academic achievement.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students in leadership, coaching, tutoring, or teaching.
• Experience using adaptive learning tools to motivate students and track progress.
• Proven ability to manage a classroom-like cohort and deliver engaging life-skills coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking and focus.
• Conduct daily 1:1 or small-group motivation sessions driving weekly goals to 100%.
• Administer mastery assessments and re-coach until pass.
• Adapt workshop content to suit varied ages from kindergartener to 8th grade.
• Be the reliable, standards-driven adult students trust.
