Job summary

Endeavor Charter School in Wake Forest, North Carolina is seeking a Long Term Substitute General Music and Band teacher for grades 1–8. Qualifications

• Experience teaching general music and band preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary general music (grades 1-5) and middle school band electives using school curricula and lesson plans.
• Collaborate with drama department to prepare 3rd-5th grade performances using pre-recorded music and choreography videos.
• Control the sound system and music for grade level shows.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive classroom environment with consistent management.
• Attend Elective/Enrichment team meetings to maintain continuity with the instructional team.
• Keep accurate records of student work, progress, participation, and communicate grades weekly to the Director of Fine Arts.
