Job summary

The Department of Elementary, Middle Level, Library and Learning Technologies at Kutztown University seeks applicants for our temporary adjunct pool in teacher education. We invite qualified candidates to teach PreK-4 and middle level methods courses, supervise student teaching, and offer undergraduate or graduate courses day or evening.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in education with at least five years of K-8 teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education with at least 5 years' experience teaching in K-8.
• Applicants who meet minimum requirements will be placed in our part-time adjunct faculty pool and may be contacted for on-campus interviews.
• Doctorate and at least one year of college-level teaching experience or equivalent preferred, with emphasis on diverse learners or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Teach PreK-4 methods courses in science, math, social studies and literacy.
• Teach middle level (grades 4-8) methods courses in literacy.
• Supervise student teaching for both areas and offer course offerings day or evening.
