Job summary

Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is seeking a dependable and organized Art Teacher to provide full-time instruction to PreK-8th grade students during a maternity leave from January to March 2027.

All curriculum and materials will be prepared in advance; the substitute will execute plans, maintain classroom routines, supervise art studio areas, and support students in a faith-filled academic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with elementary and/or middle school classroom management.
• Comfort using Google Classroom.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Applicants should be faith-filled and uphold Catholic values.

Responsibilities

• Execute prepared daily lesson plans via Google Classroom or packet.
• Maintain established classroom management, behavior expectations, and daily routines.
• Supervise student use of art supplies and maintain an organized classroom environment.
