Job summary

Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship seeks a Spanish Teacher to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for grades K-6, focusing on language skills and cultural awareness.

The position runs 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a schedule aligned to the school calendar. Candidates must hold PA K-8 certification and a degree in Education, and have classroom leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education required.
• Active PA K-8 certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of the Pennsylvania State Standards and Common Core.
• Minimum 3 years of lead classroom teacher experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to students and align with PA standards.
• Use data to guide learning and plan instruction.
• Differentiate instruction with accommodations and interventions.
• Support PHCSE Microsociety and Entrepreneurship curricula.
• Organize classroom space and manage behavior with a school-wide model.
• Participate in parent conferences and professional development.
