Qualifications

• Texas State Teacher’s Certification in subject to be taught.
• Bachelor’s degree with passing score on ExCET/TExES.
• Bachelor’s degree with 18 credit hours in core subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant work experience with a supporting letter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons using classical traditional methods.
• Assign lessons and correct classwork in a timely manner.
• Administer assessments and inform parents of progress.
• Provide interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades and parent communication via school tools.
• Maintain a disciplined, engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to implement accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings and training sessions.
• Engage in marketing and student recruiting activities as needed.
